Lingua IT (Verona)
Come to the
beautiful and romantic city of Romeo
and Juliet to learn how to cook
traditional and typical dishes. (If it was

hold evening classes in which students learn
the preparation and history of various
recipes. As part of the cookery courses, the

restaurants, and tours to local wine making

(Rome)
This school, based in one
of Italy's most beautiful cities, Rome,
offers many courses that can also be
combined as part of a language course. They
teach from Basic to Advanced, and also offer
courses for aspiring 'pastry chefs' and
'pizza makers'. The 'non-professionals' will
learn to make traditional dishes in 3 hour
lessons in which a complete menu is prepared
and then eaten afterwards for lunch or
dinner.

courses available, (with groups of 2 upto

This school also offers
language courses. Lessons are conducted in a
typical Neapolitan family household, where
you will learn secrets and techniques of the
renowned Neapolitan Cuisine! After the
cooking experience, you will then all sit
together to eat what you have made. Such
dishes that you may learn to cook, are
Pasta Genovese (pasta with meat and
onion sauce), Melanzane Ripene
(stuffed aubergines), Nocillo (

Cucina del Sole (Catania)
The cookery lessons are
held in an original 18th century Sicilian
house. Taught by gastronomical journalist
Eleonora Consoli, there are a range of
courses to choose from, all learning how to
cook traditional Sicilian recipes. This area
of Sicily is renowned for it's olive oil,
lemon and orange groves and pistachios.
Lessons are held in Italian, French or

Babilonia (Taormina)
Located in
Taormina near Giardini di Naxos,
this school also offers language courses, as
well as cultural, sports and art courses, so
you could combine some courses and have the
ultimate learning experience holiday. They
offer a couple of different cookery courses,
one called 'Vera Mamma', which is taught by
a real Sicilian Mamma in her own home!
Prices start at around 200 Euros per week.
There is also a registration fee (50 euros)
but you only pay this one time for however
many courses you do.

Notting Hill area, and has experienced
phenomenal success since opening last year.
She offers day, evening and Saturday
courses. The all day Saturday class starts
at Borough Market early in the morning to
select the ingredients, and then continues
through the afternoon in her studio kitchen
to cook the dishes. She also offers classes
